If you want to emphasize the liquid quality of the water and the reflections, making the image less “flat” than on a completely opaque paper. Bamboo: it’s an excellent “eco-friendly” choice. Author’s recommendation - For this photograph I highly recommend German Etching: the texture adds a third dimension to the trees, making them almost “pop” off the page. The blacks are deep, and the tone is slightly cooler than Photo Rag. To lend the print the feel of a “handcrafted work of art” or traditional etching.
